GALANOREMA VIA FERRATA, 06/3/22, Pelion, Greece
Via ferrata is the route on a rock, maintaining the highest security standards. Two of its basic characteristics are a wire rope, which is constantly tied on the visitor’s special belt, and some additional metal steps placed on specific spots so that they can make access easier.

Visitors meet at Hellas canyon base. The team’s guide welcomes everyone and informs them about the activity. As we go down the path, we come through a dense forest of Zagora’s apple trees, having a wonderful view of the Aegean Sea in combination with the mountain of Centaurs, Pelion. Just 20΄ later, we reach the starting point of Galanorema canyon. While via ferrata is seen clearly in the horizon, followed by scenic routes foul of waterfalls and bright blue ponds.
Duration time is about 2,5 hours, with a big break for snacks or swimming in the canyon΄s waters.
Returning to Hellas canyon base comes through a different path, only 15΄ long and full of green.
